Wool Highlights from 01-15,Nov 2008
Wool prices further went down during the first half, as a result of continued weakness in demand. Indicators were sharply down in local currency terms in Australia, South Africa and New Zealand while only slightly declining in US$ and euro terms. Wool prices sharply rebounded towards the end of the fortnight in Australia, mainly due to a fall in the Australian dollar while Chinese importers need urgently filling their annual quotas.
