Viscose filament yarn prices went down but at a much slower pace than that of viscose staple fibre prices in the Chinese domestic market. This is mostly due to sharp reductions in operating rates of viscose filament yarn manufacturers. The staple fibre industry may follow the same path. There was no change in export price for viscose filament yarn in USD market and it remained stable with no changes in the offer prices as compared to our last time report.
