COTTON Highlights from 01-15,Nov 2008

Cotton prices further went down in New York, as the dollar's rebound triggered a new decline on commodity markets. US futures are now nearing four-year lows. According to the experts, there is still room for a further fall in prices. Prices plummeted in China as well while rebounding in Pakistan and staying unchanged in India. The textile industry may not take advantage of significantly lower raw materials, as a result of the state intervention.
